What billiga.at processes
Search
Search terms are processed to determine results. No personal search profile is currently created.
Account & lists
Email address, verification status and required account data are processed server-side. Shopping and saved lists may also be stored in the browser.
Price alerts
Email address, search term, optional brand and target price are processed only for the requested alert. It remains inactive until confirmed by a one-time link.
Confirmation links
A time-limited, single-use token is stored as a hash. The link is valid for 15 minutes; expired tokens are deleted.
Shared shopping lists
Shared lists use a random link; for signed-in users, the email may be processed for assignment.
Contact
Email, topic and message are stored so the request can be handled.
Retailer links
A connection to a retailer's website is made only when an original source is opened.
Usage statistics (optional)
Only after consent in the cookie notice does billiga.at load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) with IP truncation, without Google Signals and without advertising features, to evaluate page views and search usage anonymously. Without consent no analytics script is loaded; consent can be withdrawn at any time via the cookie settings in the footer.

Storage
Duration & recipients
Browser data remains on your device until deleted there. Contact requests are retained until resolved and afterwards only as long as evidence or legal duties require. Login tokens expire after 15 minutes. Price alerts and account data remain until consent is withdrawn or the account is deleted.
billiga.at is technically operated by AIwasnet OÜ. Confirmation and price-alert emails are sent through Zone Media OÜ. Data is not shared with retailers; their own processing applies when external sources are opened.

Rights & complaints
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and, depending on the legal basis, object or withdraw consent. Price alerts can be paused or deleted in your profile, and your account can be deleted there directly. Use the contact form for any further request.

Amazon affiliate links
Some Amazon links are affiliate links labelled as advertising and contain our partner ID. A connection to Amazon is made only when you click. Amazon then receives information including your IP address, browser data and the destination containing the search term or product ID. Amazon may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute purchases. We do not load Amazon scripts, images or tracking pixels for this on billiga.at. Further processing on Amazon is governed by its privacy notice. We may receive a commission, but do not receive payment details from your Amazon purchase.
